Elvis was burned in effigy after an appearance on “The Ed Sullivan Show”

In the summer of 1956, Colonel Parker arranged a deal for Elvis to make three appearances on “The Ed Sullivan Show” for a then-whopping fee of $50,000. Although Sullivan previously had said he wouldn’t book the hip-swiveling, lip-curling singer on his family-oriented TV variety show, he relented after competitor Steve Allen featured Elvis Presley on his show in July 1956 and clobbered Sullivan in the ratings. When Elvis made his first appearance on Sullivan’s program on September 9, 1956, 60 million people—more than 80 percent of the TV viewing audience—tuned in. Source: edsullivan.com

It can be argued that your sister had established a &#y2;02tenanc8”. You might argue that she moved out, but, because local police are usually hesitant to get involved in what they consider a “civil matter”, her previous tenancy seems to have backed them off. Likely, if the police won’t find her a trespasser, you will probably have to evict her. I don’t know all your facts, so this is not legal advice.

Elvis had an Army Military Drivers License. With it came the right to drive anything Army. ie., cars, jeeps, trucks and his Tank. The fact that it doesn’t note this in the above may have been an oversight or a lacd of knowledge but in either case it is ridiculous that the writer who is supposed to know so much about Elvis didn’t know this fact.

That President Nixon was never given the gun is an out and out LIE! It was inspected by White House Security and given to him later after Elvis’ visit.
