Sheryl is the chief operating officer of Facebook and the first woman to serve on their board.
She founded the non-profit Lean In foundation, which aims to inspire woman to achieve their business goals. She is the chief operating officer (COO) of Facebook and founder of Leanin.org. In June 2012, she was elected to the board of directors by the existing board members, becoming the first woman to serve on Facebook’s board.
